2019 Casanova di Neri Brunello di Montalcino “White Label”, Tuscany

2019 Casanova di Neri Brunello di Montalcino “White Label”, Tuscany

ABOUT THIS WINE

The 2019 Casanova di Neri Brunello di Montalcino “White Label” is a beautifully crafted expression of Sangiovese from one of Montalcino’s most respected estates. Like many in the 2019 vintage, this bottling benefits from both power and elegance, avoiding over‑extraction; it is noted as “pure and energetic… a great value” and a superb village‑level Brunello. It’s ready to enjoy now—with some decanting—or can be laid down for a decade or more, pairing sublimely with Tuscan cuisine like grilled meats, aged cheeses, ragù, or wild mushroom dish.

ABOUT THIS PRODUCER

Founded in 1971 by Giovanni Neri—initially a grain merchant who planted the first Brunello vines by 1978—the estate has since been stewarded by his son Giacomo and grandson Giovanni, now working the winery’s ~63 ha of vineyards using meticulous viticulture and a blend of traditional Slavonian oak botti and French barriques.
