Crafted from Chardonnay vines planted in 1919 and 1920 on marl-rich soils in the “Les Grands Teppes” lieu-dit, this cuvée is a pure reflection of old-vine depth and Jura’s unique terroir. Fermented with indigenous yeasts and raised for over two years in neutral oak without any additions—including no sulfur at bottling—this wine epitomizes Ganevat’s low-intervention, terroir-first approach. After years at Domaine Jean-Marc Morey in Chassagne-Montrachet, he returned to his family’s estate in La Combe de Rotalier and transformed it into a benchmark for natural wine excellence. The estate has been biodynamic since 2006, and all wines are vinified without additives, with many cuvées bottled sans soufre.
