This 100% Godello derives from massal selection of indigenous Godello plants from Bierzo which have been adapted to the microclimate and soils for centuries. Vines are carefully selected from 35 years old vineyards at 500m altitude on a low hill facing northwest. These hills are full of clay and limestone soils. The grapes are manually harvested in small cases of 15 kg before passing through a selection table to avoid bunches not according with the winery's quality. This wine was fermented in stainless steel vats for 10 days controlling temperature. Aged for 2 months with its lees. Limited production to 4500 bottles.

ABOUT THIS PRODUCER
Tranquility, is one of the words that should come to mind when you arrive in Valtuille de Abajo.
The García Alba family, headed by Dimas García Canedo, started the Vinos Valtuille S.L. in 1999. Today the Company is thriving and growing, managed by two of their four children: Elena and Marcos. The family winery is the reflection of the values passed down through the generations. Effort is the fundamental pillar, along with respect and are for the land.
Marcos is in charge of the control of the vineyard and the production of the wines, using the advice that his grandfather Antonio gave him years ago. Marcos, like life in Valtuille, is the tranquility of the winery. He understands his wines and gives them the necessary time so they can be enjoyed at their optimum moment. Elena, on the other hand, like every house in Valtuille, is all about activity. She is always looking for ways to progress, to make things better and thus achieve a better future. The balance between the two parts forms the reality of Vinos Valtuille.
